Please note all activities / instrument hire are invoiced on a termly basis in advance.

Trafford Music Service may be able to offer financial support to low income families or Looked After Children for children who live or attend school in Trafford.

The discount is issued on a yearly basis to give financial support towards:

  • Instrumental and vocal tuition (including Infant provision and Rock Academy) 

  • Ensembles and Choirs 

  • Instrument hire 

For lessons taking place in school, please seek support directly from the school. Our Fee Remission Policy only applies to Music Centre Activities (with the exception for Looked After Children).

2026 / 27 Prices

  • Infant Voices: £7.10 per session

    Infant instrumental Groups: £9.40 per session

  • Group: £10.90 per lesson

    Paired 20 minutes: £11.80 per lesson

    Paired 30 minutes: £13.85 per lesson

    Individual 20 minutes: £18.20 per lesson

    Individual 30 minutes: £25.65 per lesson

    Aural/Theory Lessons: £13.35 per lesson

    Music Production: £10.90 per lesson

    Rock Academy: £16.30 per lesson

  • Ensemble fee - rate 1: £7.10 per session

    Ensemble fee - rate 2: £11 per session

    Junior Voices / Youth Voices: Free (not eligible for 50% multi-course and sibling discount)

    Together Orchestra: £16.30 per session (charged termly in advance based on the number of sessions in a term)

    *Sibling and multi ensemble discount available: One ensemble fee will be charged in full to the higher fee and discount will be applied to the lowest remaining ensemble fees.

  • School Singing Club: £7.10 per session

    School Music Production: £9.90 per session

  • £10.50 per month for those participating in TMS activity.

    £14.50 per month for non TMS students.

  • Trafford Music Service are moving to a monthly, per-lesson direct debit option in the 2026/2027 academic year. All payments will be monthly by default.
